Sales Rep (Beverages, Code 08)

Out on the road for a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Somerset West, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

Home base is a snack and confectionery wholesaler on the Somerset West side of Western Cape. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Matric
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Cellphone and data allowance
