Job Description

You'll cover a route of stores around Thohoyandou, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in Thohoyandou; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

Must-haves

Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
Matric
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets

Helpful, not essential

Existing relationships with independent retailers
Speaking two or more local languages
