Job Description

You'll run a shift of officers at a guarding contract across several sites in Bellville, keeping posts covered and standards high. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a guarding contract across several sites on the Bellville side of Western Cape.

What you'll actually do

Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Meet the client weekly on security concerns
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills

You'll need

Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Matric, with a security management course a plus
PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)

Nice if you have

Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
Own reliable vehicle
Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
