Security Area Manager (Night Rounds) – Permanent

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Bloemfontein. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

The site is in Bloemfontein; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches

• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Own reliable vehicle
• Mining or hospital security experience
• Labour relations or basic supervision course

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
