Security Area Manager (Night Rounds)

You'll run a shift of officers at a guarding contract across several sites in Epping, keeping posts covered and standards high. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Location: Epping, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
