Security Area Manager (Night Rounds)

Step up from guarding into supervising on a guarding contract across several sites in Vanderbijlpark. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Home base is a guarding contract across several sites on the Vanderbijlpark side of Gauteng. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Meet the client weekly on security concerns

• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Available after hours for emergencies

• Mining or hospital security experience
• Labour relations or basic supervision course

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Cellphone allowance
