Job Description

A security company in Durban Central wants a firm, fair supervisor for its hospital complex. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll report in Durban Central. Relocation is not covered for this one. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Meet the client weekly on security concerns

Must-haves

Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Matric, with a security management course a plus
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
Confident writer of incident reports and rosters

Extra points for

Mining or hospital security experience
Handgun competency for armed supervisor posts
Labour relations or basic supervision course
