Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

Officers look to you on every shift at a retail portfolio in Boksburg. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

Home base is a retail portfolio on the Boksburg side of Gauteng. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts

• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites

• Cellphone allowance

• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
