Security Site Supervisor (Grade B) – Fixed-Term

Officers look to you on every shift at a guarding contract across several sites in Lephalale. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a guarding contract across several sites in Lephalale. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Order and issue uniform, radios and torches
• Post officers when the shift changes over and cover no-shows
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records

• PSIRA Grade B (Grade A for area manager posts)
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Computer skills for rosters in Excel or a workforce app
• Own reliable vehicle
• Mining or hospital security experience

• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles
• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Cellphone allowance
• Management training for growth to operations manager

• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
• Mention how you handled absenteeism or roster gaps. It is the biggest daily headache for security companies.
