Security Site Supervisor (Grade B)

A security company in Sasolburg wants a firm, fair supervisor for its retail portfolio. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll be based at a retail portfolio in Sasolburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
• Run on-site training on procedures and emergency drills
• Do surprise night visits to check posts
• Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
• Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries

• Matric, with a security management course a plus
• Available after hours for emergencies
• Firm with staff but fair and consistent
• Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
• Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
• At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor

• Provident fund and funeral cover
• Management training for growth to operations manager
• Cellphone allowance
• Company vehicle or car allowance on area roles

• Say how many officers you supervised and on which sites. The number matters more than the title.
• If you have been upgraded through the grades, show the progression. It proves you grew on the job.
