Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies) – Experienced

People get paid right and on time because of you at a hospitality group in Polokwane. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll report in Polokwane. Relocation is not covered for this one. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Compile bi-annual EMP501 reconciliations and issue IRP5 certificates
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions

• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• You keep salary information private under POPIA

• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting
• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• Bargaining council wage experience, such as MIBCO or the security sector

• Paid SAPP membership
• Remote work outside payroll week
