Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies) – Permanent

Location: Sasolburg, Free State. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private

• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma

• Remote work outside payroll week
