Senior Payroll Officer (Group Companies) – Immediate Start

A hospitality group in Umhlanga needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Umhlanga-based, with most of your time spent at a hospitality group. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
• Submit monthly EMP201 returns and pay PAYE, UIF and SDL on eFiling
• Capture new hires, terminations, increases and deductions before cut-off
• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private

• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• Reliable with deadlines that cannot move
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay

• Paid SAPP membership
• Group life and disability cover
• Structured increases linked to certification

• Say how many employees you paid and how often, such as "1,200 weekly-paid staff on VIP"; volume matters.
• Never attach real payslips from a past employer; blank out names if you use one as an example.
