Job Description

People get paid right and on time because of you at a labour-heavy mining contractor in Vanderbijlpark. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Location: Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

The work, day to day

Calculate leave pay, notice pay and final pay under the BCEA
Process garnishee orders and third-party deductions
Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms
Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports

You'll need

At least 2 years of full-function payroll
You keep salary information private under POPIA
Experience on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
