Senior Payroll Practitioner (Multi-Company)

This security services company in Pretoria East needs someone who knows payroll tax and SARS inside out. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Pretoria East-based, with most of your time spent at a security services company.

• Calculate leave pay, notice pay and severance on terminations.
• Process garnishee orders, loans and third-party deductions.
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against the BCEA limits.
• Capture new hires, terminations and changes on Sage 300 People or VIP.
• Reconcile medical aid, pension and provident fund schedules.

• Matric plus a payroll, bookkeeping or HR qualification
• Strong Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Hands-on Sage 300 People, VIP, PaySpace or SimplePay
• Sound knowledge of PAYE, UIF, SDL and the BCEA
• Trusted with confidential salary data

• Multi-company or multi-country payroll exposure
• SAPA (South African Payroll Association) membership or certification
• Bargaining council levy and wage-rate experience

• 13th cheque
• Study assistance for payroll certification
• Medical aid and retirement fund
• Hybrid work outside month-end week
