Job Description

This is a numbers job with boots on: bills of quantities, site measurements and payment claims in Cape Town CBD. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Cape Town CBD. Relocation is not covered for this one.

What you'll actually do

Price tenders using supplier quotes, labour rates and plant costs
Get quotes from subcontractors and compare them line by line
Value variations and prepare claims under JBCC or GCC conditions
Update cash flow forecasts for the project manager
Draft subcontract agreements and payment schedules

Must-haves

Accurate with numbers and able to back up every figure you certify
Code 08 licence for site visits
Understanding of JBCC Principal Building Agreement clauses
BSc, BTech or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
