Sheep Farm Hand (Shearing Season)

If you like working with animals, a sheep farm near Ballito has steady, long-term work. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

• Gentle and patient with animals
• Willing to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays on rotation
• Comfortable around large animals
• Follows hygiene and biosecurity rules

• Basic farm maintenance skills
• Animal health or AgriSETA short course
• Previous dairy or livestock experience

• Production bonus on milk yield or growth targets
• Training in animal health
• Milk or meat rations
• Farm housing on site

• For foreman roles, mention how many workers you supervised and what you were in charge of.
• Say which animals you have worked with and for how long. Farmers want someone who already knows the routine.
