Shelf Packer (Supermarket, Weekend Shift)

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a neighbourhood supermarket in Springs needs extra hands. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a neighbourhood supermarket in Springs. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs

• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Grade 10 or matric
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Neat appearance and punctual
