Job Description

A security company in Boksburg wants a firm, fair supervisor for its residential estate. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Location: Boksburg, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

The work, day to day

Inspect guards on post for uniform, alertness and OB entries
Do surprise night visits to check posts
Handle discipline issues fairly and keep written records
Plan the monthly roster to stay within legal working hours
Check that PSIRA registrations of staff on site are current
Investigate incidents and write reports for the client
Meet the client weekly on security concerns

You'll need

Confident writer of incident reports and rosters
At least 3 years in security, including 1 as a supervisor
Matric, with a security management course a plus
Firm with staff but fair and consistent
Valid Code 8 licence and willing to drive between sites
