Site Security Officer (Construction Yard) – Immediate Start

Steady 12-hour shifts at a construction yard in Alberton for PSIRA-registered officers. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a construction yard in Alberton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Keep the guardhouse clean and the OB up to date for the relieving officer
• Hand out and collect contractor access cards
• Watch for loitering, broken fencing and open doors during night patrols
• Check visitors' IDs and capture them on the visitor app or in the gate register
• Direct traffic and parking during school drop-off or big events
• Patrol the perimeter on a set route and scan checkpoint tags
• Test the panic button and radio when you come on duty

• Clear, neat handwriting for the OB and registers
• Clean criminal record
• Able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends
• Grade 10 minimum; matric preferred
• PSIRA registration at Grade C or higher, paid up to date

• Experience on estate access apps or biometric readers
• Firefighting or evacuation training
• First-aid Level 1 certificate

• Provident fund contributions
• Uniform, boots and winter jacket issued
• Paid night-shift allowance under the security sector rules
