Skills Development Facilitator (Learnerships)

A corporate training academy in Germiston needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a corporate training academy in Germiston. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Moderate other assessors' decisions and sign off moderation reports

• Own transport for training at client sites
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• Good report writing and record keeping
• Confident presenting to groups of 20 or more adults
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field

• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Travel allowance or company car for site training

• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
• For TVET posts, attach your teaching qualification too, as colleges score it during shortlisting.
