Skills Development Facilitator (Learnerships)

An accredited training provider in Upington needs a facilitator who can teach, assess and keep the paperwork audit-ready. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at an accredited training provider in Upington. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Run practical demonstrations in the workshop with safety briefings
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Coach learners who are behind and plan re-assessments

• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• At least 3 years of working experience in the subject field
• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Own transport for training at client sites

• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings
• Paid re-registration with your SETA
• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges

• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
• Put your assessor registration number and the SETA it sits with at the top of your CV.
