Soft Skills Trainer (Corporate Academy) – Permanent

Stand in front of a class of adults at an accredited training provider in Fourways and make the work make sense. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

This post is Fourways-based, with most of your time spent at an accredited training provider. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Load learner results onto the SETA or QCTO system
• Keep attendance registers and learner files ready for SETA verification
• Give feedback on course materials so the next intake runs better
• Facilitate classroom and workplace sessions against the learning programme
• Develop lesson plans, case studies and assessment guides
• Sit in on workplace visits to confirm learners are doing real tasks

• Relevant qualification at least one NQF level above the one you'll teach
• Good report writing and record keeping
• Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Registered assessor, with moderator registration for moderator posts
• Own transport for training at client sites

• Trade test certificate for artisan training posts
• Teaching qualification or Higher Certificate in adult education

• Travel allowance or company car for site training
• Holiday breaks between intakes at colleges
• Day-rate contracts with steady bookings

• Show your industry years separately from your training years; providers need both.
• Say which unit standards or occupational qualifications you're registered for; this decides where you can be used.
