Job Description

You'll build and ship features that real users touch every day, for an e-commerce platform in Randburg. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The site is in Randburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Write, test and refactor code in your team's main language
Write unit and integration tests before you merge
Pair with junior developers to unblock them
Investigate production bugs using logs and monitoring dashboards
Join daily stand-ups and sprint planning
Pick up tickets from the sprint board and estimate the work

What you need

Solid Git habits: branches, pull requests and meaningful commit messages
A computer science or IT qualification, or a portfolio that proves you can build
Good SQL and understanding of relational databases
Experience writing automated tests
