Spray Tractor Operator (Orchards) – Immediate Start

Big machines, long days in season: a maize and soya farm near Bethlehem needs a skilled operator. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The site is in Bethlehem; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Report breakdowns and help the mechanic with repairs
• Check oil, water, tyres and grease points before starting
• Operate combine harvesters during harvest season

• Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons
• At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
• Safe driver who respects chemical and machine safety
• Reliable and sober on duty
• Basic understanding of implements and settings

• Combine harvester experience
• Code 8 or Code 10 licence for road trips
• A pesticide application or spray course

• Farm housing with water and electricity

• Mention GPS or auto-steer if you have used it. Modern grain farms struggle to find operators who know it.
• A reference from a previous farmer is gold. Ask for it before you leave any farm job.
