Spray Tractor Operator (Orchards) – Immediate Start

Big machines, long days in season: a sugar cane estate near Kariega needs a skilled operator. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a sugar cane estate in Kariega. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Hook up and drive ploughs, discs, planters and sprayers
• Wash equipment after spraying and store chemicals safely

• Willing to work long hours in planting and harvest seasons
• Basic understanding of implements and settings
• Can read job cards and spray instructions
• At least 2 years driving tractors on a farm
• Available to live on or near the farm

• Combine harvester experience
• Experience with GPS guidance or auto-steer

• Harvest bonus at season end
• Farm housing with water and electricity
• Overtime paid during planting and harvest

• List the machines you can drive and the implements you have used. Farmers want to know if you can plant, spray or harvest on day one.
• A reference from a previous farmer is gold. Ask for it before you leave any farm job.
