Stock Packer (Distribution Centre)

Every order that leaves this clothing distribution centre in Bellville passes through your hands first. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

This post is in Bellville (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Stack finished orders on pallets and stretch-wrap them tight
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns

• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• Happy to work shifts, weekends and public holidays in peak season

• Previous picking experience with a handheld RF scanner
• Basic computer skills for capturing counts
• Experience in a cold-chain or freezer environment

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Safety boots, overalls and freezer jackets supplied
