Stock Packer (Distribution Centre)

You'll keep a busy frozen-food distribution centre in Boksburg stocked, picked and moving out on time. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Boksburg-based, with most of your time spent at a frozen-food distribution centre. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
• Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
• Count stock during weekly cycle counts and month-end stock takes

• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
• You can read product codes and count accurately
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts

• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
• Overtime paid at time-and-a-half on weekdays

• Say clearly that you can work nights and weekends. Peak-season hiring goes to people who are available.
