Job Description

Pick it right, pack it neat, send it out: that's the job at a pharmaceutical warehouse in Montague Gardens. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Montague Gardens-based, with most of your time spent at a pharmaceutical warehouse. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

What your day looks like

Pack cartons, add fillers and seal them with tape guns
Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
Move pallets with a hand pallet jack to the dispatch lane
Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
Unpack returned parcels and sort them into resell or write-off
Label boxes with the correct waybill and route sticker

You'll need

Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
Willing to wear safety boots, a reflector vest and gloves
South African ID or a valid work permit
You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
