Stock Packer (Distribution Centre)

This is steady, physical warehouse work at a frozen-food distribution centre in Tembisa, and nobody minds if it's your first job. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a frozen-food distribution centre on the Tembisa side of Gauteng.

• Pick orders from pick slips or a handheld scanner, bin by bin
• Wear thermal gear and rotate in and out of freezer zones on schedule
• Scan every item so the system shows the right stock count
• Replenish empty pick faces from overstock racking
• Keep aisles clear of plastic, cardboard and loose pallets
• Report damaged, short or expired items to the shift supervisor

• You're fit enough to lift boxes up to 25kg all shift
• Punctual, with reliable transport home after late shifts
• South African ID or a valid work permit
• Clean criminal record (most warehouses run a check)
• Grade 10 or higher; matric preferred
• You can read product codes and count accurately

• Permanent appointment for reliable temps after peak season
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
• Chance to be trained on forklift after probation
