Store Assistant (Night Fill)

Start in retail here: a neighbourhood supermarket in Isando trains packers who show up and work neat. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)

• Neat appearance and punctual
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Some till or cash-handling experience
