Store Assistant (Night Fill)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a hardware and building store in Kempton Park, so shoppers find what they came for. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Kempton Park, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Neat appearance and punctual

• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
