Store Assistant (Night Fill) – Fixed-Term

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Kuruman, so shoppers find what they came for. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

The work is in Kuruman, Northern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Basic reading and maths for price checks

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
