Store Assistant (Night Fill)

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Sandton, so shoppers find what they came for. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Sandton-based, with most of your time spent at a wholesale cash-and-carry. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

• Grade 10 or matric
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Paid training in store procedures
• Travel allowance on merchandising routes
• Chance to move into till or department roles
