Tactical Response Officer (Night Shift)

When a panic button goes off in a business park in Atlantis, you are the one who arrives first. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

Location: Atlantis, Western Cape. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

• Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
• Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
• Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
• Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
• Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over

• Clean criminal record and no pending cases
• At least 2 years in guarding or response
• Calm under pressure and physically fit
• SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)

• Regular refresher shooting practice
• Danger and night allowances
• Group life cover through the provident fund
• Response vehicle and firearm provided

• Mention the areas you know well. Companies prefer officers who can find addresses fast without a GPS.
• Bring the originals of your certificates to the interview. Armed companies verify them before a shooting test.
