Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a suburban residential area in eMalahleni in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll report in eMalahleni. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

What your day looks like

Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Check the firearm in and out of the safe at shift start and end
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates

You'll need

SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
At least 2 years in guarding or response
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
Calm under pressure and physically fit
Clean criminal record and no pending cases
