Job Description

You'll answer alarms across a business park in Pinetown in a marked vehicle, armed and ready. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Pinetown-based, with most of your time spent at a business park.

What you'll actually do

Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details
Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs

What you need

Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
At least 2 years in guarding or response
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Nice if you have

SAPS, SANDF or reservist background
Advanced driving course
