Job Description

Serious work for a serious officer: armed response across a business park in Secunda. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

Home base is a business park on the Secunda side of Mpumalanga.

What you'll actually do

Search the property perimeter and check doors, windows and gates
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Drive the response vehicle safely at speed to client addresses
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Secure a scene until SAPS arrives and hand over details

You'll need

Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
At least 2 years in guarding or response
Calm under pressure and physically fit
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course
SAPS firearm competency certificate for handguns (and shotgun if required)
