Job Description

Clients in a business park in Umhlanga pay for fast response, and this crew delivers it. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a business park in Umhlanga. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Give first aid at an incident until paramedics take over
Visit clients for key-holder checks and open-up requests
Carry out visible patrols through the sector between call-outs
Respond to alarm and panic signals sent by the control room
Do vehicle checks: tyres, fuel, lights and siren
Write detailed incident reports on the tablet or in the vehicle logbook

Must-haves

Clean criminal record and no pending cases
Valid Code 8 or Code 10 licence with at least 2 years driving
Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
PSIRA Grade B or C with an armed response course

Nice if you have

Knowledge of the local streets and sectors
Advanced driving course
