Job Description

Clients sleep better when their tax is sorted, and a fiduciary and trust company in Mbombela needs you to sort it. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The site is in Mbombela; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Keep client tax files complete for five years
Track filing season deadlines and send reminders to clients
Draft objections and appeals with supporting schedules
Register clients for income tax, VAT and PAYE
Prepare VAT201 returns and review input tax claims

You'll need

At least 2 years of SARS eFiling experience
Comfortable handling tax season overtime
Degree or diploma in accounting or tax
Working knowledge of the Income Tax Act and VAT Act

Helpful, not essential

Postgraduate diploma in tax
Experience with trusts, estates and capital gains tax
Tax software experience such as TaxShop or CaseWare
