Job Description

People notice a clean university campus; in Richards Bay, you would be the reason it shines. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Home base is an university campus on the Richards Bay side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What you'll actually do

Mix cleaning chemicals at the dilution shown on the label, never by guesswork
Clean glass doors and internal windows without streaks
Sign the ablution checklist on the back of the door after each clean
Refill toilet paper, hand towel and soap dispensers
Report broken fittings, leaks or empty stock to the site supervisor
Run a scrubber-dryer machine on large tiled areas
Wipe desks, door handles, lift buttons and light switches

Must-haves

Comfortable using cleaning chemicals safely with gloves
Grade 10 or higher
Able to start early, often 05:00 or 06:00
You take pride in a job done properly, even when nobody checks

Helpful, not essential

Supervisory experience for team leader posts
Chemical handling training from a supplier or contractor
