Job Description

Quality and speed go together at this vehicle assembly plant in Gqeberha. You'll be part of that. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The work is in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

What your day looks like

Pull the andon cord when a defect or safety issue appears
Record production counts and scrap on the shift board
Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station
Keep your station clean using 5S rules

What you need

Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
Grade 12 certificate
Can follow written and visual work instructions
Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus

Extra points for

Basic computer skills
Forklift licence for material handling
