Team Leader (Automotive Production Line)

You'll build parts or whole vehicles on a moving line at the wiring harness factory in Pietermaritzburg. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

This post is Pietermaritzburg-based, with most of your time spent at a wiring harness factory.

• Check parts for defects before they go into the vehicle
• Assemble components at your station within the line cycle time
• Rotate between stations as the team leader plans
• Wear the correct PPE, including gloves, glasses and ear protection
• Pull the andon cord when a defect or safety issue appears

• Able to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test
• Lives close enough to reach the plant on time for every shift
• Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
