Team Leader (Automotive Production Line)

Quality and speed go together at this vehicle assembly plant in Roodepoort. You'll be part of that. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Roodepoort. Relocation is not covered for this one. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Keep your station clean using 5S rules
• Take part in kaizen ideas to improve your station
• Load and unload robotic welding cells safely
• Check parts for defects before they go into the vehicle
• Assemble components at your station within the line cycle time

• Good eyesight and hand coordination
• Able to stand for a full shift and do repeat tasks without losing focus
• Grade 12 certificate
• Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
• Can follow written and visual work instructions

• Basic computer skills
• Forklift licence for material handling

• Shift allowance and paid overtime
• Learnership opportunities toward an artisan trade
• Staff canteen with subsidised meals
