Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores)

You'll cover a route of stores around Ballito, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

You'll be based at a dairy producer in Ballito. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.

• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
• Matric
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

• Product samples and staff pricing
• Cellphone and data allowance
• Branded uniform and safety boots

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
