Job Description

You'll find, win and grow business clients for a courier and freight company in Hammarsdale. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Hammarsdale-based, with most of your time spent at a courier and freight company. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Prospect new companies by phone, LinkedIn and walk-ins in business parks.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Attend trade shows and industry breakfasts to meet buyers.
Work with operations to hand over new clients smoothly.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Respond to RFQs and tenders with complete supplier packs, including B-BBEE certificates.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.

You'll need

You close deals, not just collect meetings
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Confident with Excel, Outlook and a CRM
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record

Nice if you have

An existing network of buyers in your sector
A technical trade or engineering background for sales engineer roles
Tender and CSD registration experience
