Territory Sales Representative (Hardware Stores) – Permanent

Shelves sell the product, and at this snack and confectionery wholesaler you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

You'll be based at a snack and confectionery wholesaler in Rosslyn. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
• Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
• Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
• Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
• Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.

• Matric
• 1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

• Existing relationships with independent retailers
• A sales or marketing certificate

• Company vehicle or car allowance plus petrol card
• Branded uniform and safety boots
• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
• Name the areas you know and the store types you have serviced (supermarket chains, independents, spazas) in your CV summary.
