Time and Attendance Clerk (Factory)

A hospitality group in Alberton needs a payroll person who never misses a cut-off. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll be based at a hospitality group in Alberton. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

• Answer staff payslip queries clearly and in private
• Import clock-card data and check overtime against approved hours
• Run weekly and monthly payrolls and check the variance reports
• Submit Compensation Fund returns of earnings
• Declare UIF on uFiling and help staff with UI-19 forms

• Matric plus a payroll certificate or diploma
• You keep salary information private under POPIA
• At least 2 years of full-function payroll
• Comfortable with Excel reconciliations

• Experience with medical aid and pension fund reconciliations
• Knowledge of employment equity and WSP reporting

• Remote work outside payroll week
• Paid SAPP membership
• Structured increases linked to certification
• Group life and disability cover

• Say how many employees you paid and how often, such as "1,200 weekly-paid staff on VIP"; volume matters.
• Mention EMP501 and IRP5 by name; employers want proof you can handle the year-end tax cycle.
