Tour Desk Agent (Waterfront)

Running the front desk of a business hotel in Secunda means calm service and a clean shift balance. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Secunda-based, with most of your time spent at a business hotel. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
• Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
• Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
• Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.

• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
• Honest with cash and card payments
• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
• Clear spoken and written English

• Service charge share at some properties
• Paid system training in the first month
