Job Description

You'll clean and set up guest rooms at a casino hotel in eMalahleni to a checklist standard. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

This post is in eMalahleni (Mpumalanga). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.

What you need

Grade 10 or higher
Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day
Weekend and public holiday work

Helpful, not essential

Basic first aid certificate
A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
Chemical handling training
